GIS Support Engineer

GIS/Telecom Support Engineer – Full-time | On-site in Tangier, Morocco About the Role M.Design is looking for a GIS/Telecom Support Engineer to join our support unit. This team is responsible for resolving tooling-related issues. The support unit plays a key role in ensuring data quality, identifying and fixing data corruption, and providing technical solutions where necessary. If the issues cannot be solved within the tools, database solutions will be implemented using SQL and Python. Responsibilities Provide support for data-related issues Ensure data integrity and resolve data corruption problems Develop SQL and Python-based solutions when necessary Collaborate with developers and end-users to troubleshoot technical issues Document and communicate solutions effectively Gain an in-depth understanding of Telecom network design rules and business processes Requirements Experience as a GIS specialist, preferably with ESRI (ArcGIS) MarlinDT certification or willingness to complete training Comsof certification or willingness to complete training Strong knowledge of SQL and Python; experience with Oracle and Oracle Spatial is a plus Engineering background is an advantage; a strong interest in Telecom networks is required Analytical and problem-solving mindset with a pragmatic approach Ability to communicate effectively with technical teams and end-users Fluency in English Location & Work Setup Full-time, on-site position Office located in Tangier, Morocco Standard working hours, Monday to Friday What We Offer Competitive salary based on experience Career growth in an innovative and rapidly evolving industry Collaboration with a team of GIS and Telecom experts
