Position: GIS Technician (m/f/d)
Location: Wels
Employment Type: Full-time
Key Responsibilities:
Creating plans (route plans, detail plans, profiles, culverts, execution drawings)
Identifying and recording third-party installations
Maintaining land registers, registered rights, and generating reports for affected property owners for consent declarations
Supporting mid-level communications for authority negotiations (energy & water law, nature conservation, construction permits, mining law, trade licenses, forestry & clearing permits)
Preparing network plan sections
Conducting natural condition surveys
Surveying for medium- and low-voltage projects
Route planning (cables, property boundaries, poles, etc.)
Surveying for fiber-optic, water, gas, street lighting, and cable TV networks
Updating GIS data for fiber-optic, water, gas, street lighting, and cable TV infrastructure
Updating GIS data for electricity networks (overhead line plans, cable plans)
Scanning plans (site plans, new parcel divisions, cable plans, etc.)
Generating overhead line statistics (for accounting, ANUBIS system)
Processing change notifications from network technicians
Creating profiles (e.g., culvert profiles)
Linking GIS and SAP connection objects
Verifying release declarations
Address geocoding during projects
Requirements:
Completed vocational training (electrician background is advantageous)
Knowledge of surveying (advantageous)
Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD – advantageous)
GIS experience (advantageous)
Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel and Word)
Valid Class B driver’s license and clean criminal record
Structured and methodical work approach, attention to detail
Willingness to perform, resilience, and flexibility
Team spirit, reliability, and punctuality
High IT affinity

Offer:
A minimum gross monthly salary of EUR 3,652.48 (full-time basis), with actual compensation depending on qualifications and professional experience.
