Job Description Prepares and produces maps and other graphic representations displaying layers and attribute data from database, using cartographic techniques to represent spatial data Maintains data layers, using GIS tools, GPS units, CAD tools and relational databases Incorporates maps, charts, spreadsheet data and text into reports Performs field work to collect and/or validate GIS data using a GPS unit Resolves and troubleshoots GIS-related problems Provides basic GIS software training for internal users Develops production schedules for smaller mapping and analysis projects Communicates with internal and external customers to align project deliverables with business objectives Job Qualifications And Requirements 5+ years of work related experience Proficient in ESRI ArcGIS suite of software Working knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Office software Effective communication skills, both oral and written Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees, clients, and potential clients Some Of Our Benefits 401k Match: 100% up to 4% of your contributions with immediate vesting + 3% Safe Harbor Contribution with immediate vesting Merit-Based Bonus Compensation Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance; BGE contributes to HSA on eligible plans 9 paid Holidays, including 3 Floating holidays Personal Time Allowances 2 to 4 weeks of Vacation, depending on experience-level.
