GIS Technician

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled GIS Technician to support our Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) projects in Qatar. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, managing, validating, and submitting GIS data for ITS assets in compliance with standards and project requirements. Key Responsibilities Prepare and update GIS data for all ITS assets using ArcGIS software. Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and quality of GIS databases and spatial data. Prepare GIS maps, drawings, and related technical documentation. Verify and validate GIS data in accordance with Ashghal standards and specifications. Coordinate with project teams to collect, review, and update ITS asset information. Prepare and submit GIS deliverables in accordance with project requirements and deadlines. Maintain organized and up-to-date GIS records for project documentation and asset management. Qualifications and Skills Diploma or bachelor’s degree in GIS, Geomatics, Surveying, or a related field. Hands-on experience with ArcGIS software. Experience working on Ashghal projects and familiarity with Ashghal GIS standards and requirements. Knowledge of GIS data management, spatial data editing, and mapping. Experience with ITS assets and infrastructure projects is preferred. Strong attention to detail and data accuracy. Good communication and coordination skills. Ability to meet project deadlines and work effectively within a team. Job Type: Full-time Location: Qatar Work Location: In person
