GIS Testing/Validation Lead

Proficiency in GIS tools such as ArcGIS, QGIS, Smallworld or equivalent platforms -Strong understanding of spatial data models, projections, coordinate systems, and geodatabases -Experience with spatial analysis, geoprocessing, and map creation -Knowledge of SQL and working with spatial databases (PostGIS, Oracle Spatial, SQL Server) -Ability to work with multiple data formats (shapefiles, raster, CAD, GPS data, GeoJSON) Develop, update and maintain accurate geospatial datasets and maps -Perform spatial analysis to support business and project requirements -Ensure data quality, consistency and compliance with defined GIS standards -Collaborate with business, engineering and project teams to understand GIS needs -Adhere to project timelines, SLAs and documentation standards -Participate in reviews, audits and continuous improvement initiatives -Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset -High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy -Ability to work independently as well as part of a team -Adaptability to changing requirements and priorities -Ownership, accountability and proactive attitude -Willingness to learn new GIS technologies and best practices -Ability to clearly explain GIS concepts and analysis to non-technical stakeholders -Effective written communication for reports, documentation and process guides -Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills -Confident in participating in meetings, discussions and knowledge-sharing sessions -Ability to raise risks, issues and dependencies in a timely and professional manner Good to have skills: SQL, API Testing, Test Automation, CI/CD, Spatial Databases Show more Show less
