Responsibilities
Develop, update and maintain accurate geospatial datasets and maps
Perform spatial analysis to support business and project requirements
Ensure data quality, consistency and compliance with defined GIS standards
Collaborate with business, engineering and project teams to understand GIS needs
Adhere to project timelines, SLAs and documentation standards
Participate in reviews, audits and continuous improvement initiatives
Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset
High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Adaptability to changing requirements and priorities
Ownership, accountability and proactive attitude
Willingness to learn new GIS technologies and best practices
Ability to clearly explain GIS concepts and analysis to non-technical stakeholders

Ability to raise risks, issues and dependencies in a timely and professional manner

Technical and Professional Requirements
Proficiency in GIS tools such as ArcGIS, QGIS, Smallworld or equivalent platforms
Strong understanding of spatial data models, projections, coordinate systems, and geodatabases
Experience with spatial analysis, geoprocessing, and map creation
Knowledge of SQL and working with spatial databases (PostGIS, Oracle Spatial, SQL Server)
Ability to work with multiple data formats (shapefiles, raster, CAD, GPS data, GeoJSON)
Preferred Skills: Domain->Energy Oil Gas - Upstream->GIS->GIS Tools MapInfo Professional Foundational->Quality Engineering->Verification Validation
