GIS/Web GIS Analyst (PPS-07) – Indus River System Authority (IRSA), Islamabad (recruitment via National Testing Service – NTS) Project: Installation of Telemetry System for Real-Time Discharge Monitoring at 27 Key Sites on Indus Basin Irrigation System (IBIS), executed by WAPDA. Salary: PKR 157,500 per month | Project contract: 1 year initially, extendable on performance/project needs, 5% annual increment | 1 post Key duties: Manage and analyze GIS datasets using ESRI ArcMap/ArcCatalog (spatial queries, thematic mapping, reporting) Acquire, process and interpret satellite imagery (Landsat, Google Earth) using ERDAS Imagine/ENVI Support ArcGIS installation/licensing, Web-GIS services, data archiving, and provide training to staff Qualification & experience: Minimum 2nd class M.Sc./Bachelor (16 years of education) in IT/GIS/Computer Science 5+ years hands-on experience in ESRI ArcMap/ArcCatalog with 3D & Spatial Analyst extensions MS/M.Phil (18 years) preferred Age up to 30 years How to apply: Apply online on the NTS website (separate application per post), pay the NTS fee, and send the hard copy of the online form with attested testimonials to NTS Headquarters, Plot 96, Street 4, H-8/1, Islamabad.
