Information Technology Officer (GIS) – Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) Grade: Executive Grade I (EG-I) | Contract | Placement: Islamabad or anywhere in Pakistan | Gross salary: PKR 159,340 per month plus benefits per policy Duties: Configure and integrate geospatial services and standards including GeoServer, WMS, WFS, WMTS, REST services and OGC standards Eligibility: MS (18 years) in Geo-Informatics, Remote Sensing, Space Science, Data Science, Computer Science or related discipline with 2 years post-qualification relevant experience, OR BS (16 years) in a relevant discipline with 4 years post-qualification relevant experience (HEC recognised) Maximum age 40 years Preferred: Industry-standard certification in GIS/Remote Sensing Full-stack, mobile app, AI/ML, data science, database administration or cloud/DevOps experience React.js/Angular, JavaScript/TypeScript; backend with FastAPI/Python or ASP.NET Core/.NET OpenLayers, Leaflet, ArcGIS API for JavaScript PostgreSQL/PostGIS, GeoServer and OGC-compliant services Git, CI/CD, Docker, Linux/Nginx How to apply: Apply online at ejobportal.pk, upload documents (degrees, transcripts, CNIC, experience certificates, domicile) and submit before the deadline.
