Spectrum Geosurvey are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to join our growing team based in our Lymington office.
Position Overview
The Graduate Geospatial/Hydrographic Data Processor will be predominately responsible for hydrographic and geophysical data processing, QA/QC, and reporting for coastal and offshore survey projects.
Key Responsibilities:
• Process hydrographic (multibeam bathymetry, singlebeam) and geophysical (sidescan sonar, sub-bottom profiler, magnetometer) survey data.
• Perform spatial data analysis, bathymetric grid creation, and digital terrain modelling using hydrographic processing software (CARIS HIPS/SIPS, EIVA, QINSy, SonarWiz) and GIS (ArcGIS Pro, QGIS).
• Prepare charting, spatial deliverables, and technical survey reports for renewable energy and marine infrastructure clients.
• Ensure rigorous quality assurance and compliance with hydrographic standards (IHO S-44).
Qualifications & Requirements:
• Degree in Hydrography, Oceanography, Marine Geoscience, GIS, or related discipline.
• Familiarity with hydrographic processing software and GIS tools.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and spatial data handling skills.
