In this role, you will assist senior geophysicists with ground geophysical field surveys (gravity, magnetics, IP, radiometrics), survey data processing, spatial mapping, and geological interpretation for mining exploration projects across Southern Africa. Responsibilities: Field Surveying: Conduct ground geophysical surveys across exploration target areas using magnetometers, gravimeters, and IP resistivity equipment. Data Processing: Quality-check, process, and grid raw geophysical measurements using Oasis Montaj (Seequent), QGIS, and ArcGIS Pro. Spatial Integration: Integrate geophysical survey grids with geological maps, satellite imagery, and drillhole databases. Reporting: Draft geophysical survey reports and technical map plates under supervision. Requirements: BSc (Hons) degree in Geophysics, Geology, Earth Science, or Geospatial Science. Strong computer skills including familiarity with GIS software (QGIS or ArcGIS Pro) and basic programming (Python or MATLAB).
