Using state-of-the-art technologies, we develop high-precision orthophotos, 3D models, as-built BIM models, and intelligent GIS solutions for clients across Germany. To strategically further develop this area, we are looking for an entrepreneurial leader who drives growth, inspires people, and advances innovation. As Head of Modeling & Mapping (m/f/d), you will assume responsibility for one of our most important growth areas. Together with your team, you will develop new business fields, optimize processes, and continuously expand the business area both technically and organizationally. You will work closely with the executive management and other department heads and actively shape the future of our corporate group. Your Responsibilities Technical, disciplinary, and strategic leadership of the Modeling & Mapping business area Leading, developing, and motivating team leaders and employees across currently multiple locations Continuous expansion of the business area and development of new service offerings in the fields of GIS, BIM, 3D modeling, and geospatial data Responsibility for the successful implementation of complex projects in the following areas: - Orthophoto processing - 3D modeling - As-built BIM modeling - BIM implementation consulting - GIS applications Building additional data processing capacity, including through the development of an offshoring workbench Managing and strategically developing existing customer relationships Identifying and acquiring new customers in close coordination with executive management Responsibility for budgeting, resource, and capacity planning Ensuring timely, cost-effective, and high-quality project execution Analyzing and continuously optimizing existing processes and structures Organizational and personnel expansion of the business area at current and new locations Close collaboration with other department heads and executive management Potential future assumption of broader entrepreneurial responsibilities, up to and including power of attorney or a management position within the corporate group Your Profile Successfully completed university degree in geodesy, geoinformatics, civil engineering, geography, or a comparable field Several years of professional experience in modeling, mapping, GIS, BIM, or related disciplines Ideally, experience as a BIM manager, project manager, or in a comparable leadership role Proven experience in team leadership and employee development Demonstrable success in expanding customer relationships and acquiring new projects Entrepreneurial thinking and enthusiasm for strategically developing business areas Passion for new technologies and innovations in BIM, GIS, digitalization, and automation Strong communication and leadership skills Independent, structured, and goal-oriented working style Confident demeanor, decision-making strength, and the ability to act decisively even in challenging situations You personally convince through integrity, loyalty, openness, and a solution- and team-oriented approach.
