Intern - GIS

Job Description We are looking for enthusiastic GIS Interns to support the QC activities of our ongoing and upcoming GIS projects. Key Responsibilities Perform quality checks on GIS datasets to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency. Validate and review spatial data in accordance with project standards and quality guidelines. Support GIS data editing and correction activities using ArcMap and QGIS. Identify, document, and report data discrepancies and assist in implementing corrective actions. Maintain quality documentation and ensure compliance with project specifications. Eligibility Criteria Bachelor's degree or diploma in Geography, Geoinformatics, GIS, Remote Sensing, Civil Engineering, or a related field (fresh graduates may apply). Basic understanding of GIS concepts and spatial data. Familiarity with ArcMap and QGIS. Prior exposure to GIS data editing, validation, or quality checking will be an added advantage. Good analytical skills, attention to detail, and willingness to learn. Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking Malayalam is mandatory. Candidates meeting the required performance expectations during the internship may be considered for suitable opportunities within the organization, subject to project requirements and the project team's evaluation.
