IT Project Manager

Company: Avineon Tensing Location: Utrecht (Hybrid) | 32–40 hours per week | €4,100 – €6,790 gross per month (based on 40 hours) What You’ll Do As an IT Project Manager at Avineon Tensing, you’ll operate at the intersection of client, content, team, and organization. You’ll be responsible for the high-quality delivery of diverse IT and GIS projects using a hybrid approach—ensuring client satisfaction, timely project completion, and healthy margins. You’ll also contribute to the continuous improvement of our internal ways of working. Specifically, you will: Lead and coordinate IT and GIS projects, e.g., in data integration and conversion using FME, Esri ArcGIS, and 2D/3D data engineering Serve clients such as the Dutch national government, TenneT, Alliander, ProRail, Schiphol, Strukton, Heijmans, and various safety regions, provinces, municipalities, and water boards Collaborate with clients during pre-sales to develop solutions for complex challenges Maintain strong client relationships, aligning expectations and interests throughout the project lifecycle Contribute to tendering processes by conducting analyses, coordinating actions, and mobilizing the right technical expertise Internally, help improve our project management processes, methodologies, and tooling—e.g., by sharing knowledge and best practices with colleagues What You Bring Proven experience in project management within an IT, data, or consultancy environment Solid knowledge of project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, and/or PRINCE2 Strong client orientation, results-driven mindset, and ability to maintain oversight amid competing priorities Ability to bridge technical, business, and client perspectives—and enjoy connecting diverse disciplines Curiosity, initiative, and ambition to further develop yourself professionally What We Offer Contract for 32–40 hours per week Gross monthly salary between €4,100 and €6,790 (based on 40 hours) Annual profit-sharing Choice of benefits: electric lease car, NS Business Card, mileage reimbursement, and/or Lease-a-Bike scheme Fully employer-paid pension Internet allowance, remote work budget, and home office allowance All necessary hardware: laptop and phone 25 vacation days, with option to purchase up to 10 additional days Hybrid work model, with several weeks of remote work per year within the EEA Generous training budget for technical and personal development Access to Esri training, sandbox environments, and certification paths Active staff association (SUMMIT), organizing numerous social events you can join About Us Avineon Tensing specializes in GIS, geodata, and data solutions for organizations in the Water & Energy, Transport & Mobility, Public Order & Safety, Government, and Construction & Infrastructure sectors.
