Junior GIS Specialist

Description: Stantec is seeking to hire a Junior GIS Specialist for its offices in Peru, for a professional with at least 4 years of overall work experience. Key responsibilities include: Preparing GIS/CAD map presentation guidelines for various environmental studies. Developing base cartography and thematic layers for Environmental Baseline Studies. Creating, implementing, and maintaining project databases for the Environmental Area. Designing and composing maps, figures, and illustrations using CAD and GIS for environmental studies and proposals. Editing and preparing engineering drawings for the Project Description section. Providing technical coordination and other duties related to the role. Qualifications: Required qualifications: Degree in Geographic Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Geography, or related fields Professional license (Colegiado) and active registration (Habilitado) Minimum 2 years of experience in similar positions Intermediate proficiency in GIS Intermediate proficiency in CAD Basic proficiency in Civil 3D Basic English proficiency Availability to travel within Peru About Stantec: Stantec’s community brings together approximately 31,000 employees working across more than 450 offices in 6 continents.
