Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Land Surveyor role based in Dar es-Salaam. The Land Surveyor will conduct field surveys, including topographic and boundary surveys, using total stations and other surveying equipment to collect accurate spatial data. The role includes preparing survey plans, maps, and reports, verifying measurements, and ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations. The Land Surveyor will collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to provide survey data for building and infrastructure projects, as well as maintain organized records of survey results. The position also involves inspecting sites, identifying potential issues, and recommending solutions that support safe, efficient project delivery.
Qualifications
Strong skills in Land Surveying and Surveying for various project types.
Hands-on experience with Topographic Surveys for site analysis and planning.
Proficiency in using Total Station and related surveying instruments.
Experience in Building Surveying for construction and infrastructure projects.
Diploma or degree in Land Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, maps, and legal property descriptions.
Competence with survey and CAD software, and basic GIS tools is an advantage.
Strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and problem-solving abilities.
Effective communication skills and ability to work safely and collaboratively on-site.
Relevant professional registration or licensing is an added benefit.
