About the Role
Are you looking for an LIA (Work-Integrated Learning) internship where you can use data to investigate concrete issues and contribute to societal benefit? At the Swedish Post and Telecom Authority (PTS), you’ll turn your academic knowledge into practice while gaining insight into how data, analysis, and technology are used within a government agency.
As an intern, you’ll become part of daily operations from day one. You’ll work on real-world questions, test your ideas, and learn from experienced colleagues.
We value work–life balance. At PTS, there’s room for both work and leisure, and you’ll join a safe, collaborative environment where we learn from each other and enjoy working together.
You’ll work at the intersection of data, analysis, and technology. Your responsibilities may include:
Data processing and analysis using SQL and Python
Geospatial analysis, mapping, and data visualization
Data quality, metadata, and documentation
Supporting the full project cycle—from problem definition and analysis to presenting results
Tasks will be tailored to your skills, education, and interests.
Who We’re Looking For
We’re seeking a curious, detail-oriented student who enjoys exploring questions through data. At PTS, it’s important that you dare to ask questions, try different solutions, and actively engage with feedback and guidance. You should be comfortable diving into new topics and take ownership of your tasks to ensure progress.

You are currently enrolled in a relevant program (university, university college, or vocational college) and your LIA/internship period aligns with the program’s requirements.
You are applying for your second internship period.
You have foundational knowledge in data processing or data analysis.

You have an interest in geospatial data, maps, and visualization.
