Permanent FIFO role from Perth, 8/6 roster with 6% site allowance Competitive salary + quarterly bonus + private health allowance Tertiary qualification in Surveying required Role Details: Be involved in the expansion of the Gruyere operation from the first stages. You will contribute to the achievement of safe delivery of the mining operations plan through the provision of a comprehensive survey control, guidance, and reconciliation service. Be an active team member, undertaking field survey services using GNSS, laser scanner and UAV data capture platforms, and maintaining an accurate and effective data management system. Set out designs, record and maintain accurate “as built” for infrastructure Contribute to achieving mining production targets by delivering a timely comprehensive survey control service End of month surveys and reporting RPAS surveys to ensure currency of site surface model About you: Formal qualification in Surveying (Degree or Advanced Diploma) An Authorised Mine Surveyors Certificate Grade 1 or 2 (WA), or the ability to obtain, will be highly regarded Manual driver’s license Demonstrated experience in open pit mine surveying, with some exposure to construction being beneficial Experience in the use of DJI RPAS with remote pilots’ licence (RePL) Experience with Deswik, Pix4D, DJI Terra, Globalmapper and PointStudio software applications highly regarded Understanding of Trimble GNSS Applications can be submitted via: https://careers.goldfields.com/Australia Gold Fields is committed to achieving an inclusive workforce.
