.NET Engineer - GIS & Geospatial (NR) @ Tech People Hungary

* Completed Bachelor's degree in computer science, or comparable. * Minimum 3 years of professional experience in .NET Backend engineering and hands on experience with geo data. * Proficient with geospatial .NET libraries (such as NetTopologySuite) for spatial data manipulation. * Strong PostGIS experience, including spatial indexing (GiST), complex SQL geometric queries, and coordinate system (EPSG) transformations. * Practical knowledge of GeoServer (REST API management, layer styling via SLD, and caching) and OGC standards (WMS, WFS, WCS, Vector Tiles). * Experience building automated data pipelines utilizing GDAL/OGR via C# wrappers or command-line integration. * Very good English and Hungarian language skills, written and spoken (C1-C2 Hungarian is an advantage). * Ability to work autonomously, demonstrate good level of self-initiatives. * Hands-on mentality, ability to work under pressure. * Very good cooperational skills. * Willingness to travel in Europe for business.
