The Remote Sensing of Water Systems group is a joint professorship at the University of Zurich and Eawag, using optical, thermal, microwave and sound remote sensing from in situ to airborne to satellite sensors to study water systems. Example research includes forest drought damage from climate extremes, catchment water balance and surface water dynamics, flood detection, and 3D exploration of inland waters.
