About the Role

Job Overview We are seeking a professional and experienced Overseas Pre-Sales Solution Engineer to focus on the U.S. market, specializing in drone aerial survey, 3D LiDAR scanning and GIS mapping solutions . In this role, you will serve as the core technical interface for U.S. clients, sales teams and channel partners, end-to-end supporting pre-sales technical consulting, solution customization, project POC implementation and partner empowerment. You will also deeply iterate market-compliant standardized solutions and feed back local market insights to drive product optimization and business growth in the North American market. Key Responsibilities - Overseas Pre-Sales Technical Support: Act as the primary technical contact for U.S. customers, internal sales teams and regional channel partners. Independently conduct requirement research, on-site/offline product demonstrations, POC testing and professional technical troubleshooting. Develop customized industry-specific solution proposals and drive steady project implementation and landing. - Standardized Solution Iteration: Deeply focus on drone aerial survey, 3D LiDAR, GIS and surveying & mapping fields. Continuously iterate and optimize standardized solution portfolios in line with U.S. local industry scenarios and regional compliance requirements, including FAA drone regulations and cross-border data security standards. - Channel Partner Empowerment: Provide full-lifecycle technical support for overseas partners, including professional technical training, customized solution backing and project delivery guidance. Effectively improve local partners’ technical service capabilities and cooperate with the team to expand U.S. market coverage and new business opportunities. - Market Insight & Product Iteration Closed-Loop: Continuously monitor and collect U.S. market dynamics, competitor product strategies and latest industry regulatory policies. Sort out valid market feedback and deliver actionable optimization suggestions to domestic product and R&D teams, driving targeted product iteration and market adaptation. - Document Delivery & Project Follow-Up: Independently compile high-quality English-version technical proposals, bid documents, RFP responses and project success cases. Track key U.S. projects throughout the whole cycle, rapidly resolve pre-sales and project landing technical bottlenecks to ensure smooth project progress. Job Requirements - Bachelor’s degree or above in Surveying and Mapping, GIS, Remote Sensing, Drone Technology, Spatial Information and other related majors is preferred. - 5+ years of professional experience in pre-sales solution, technical support or technical service roles focusing on drone surveying, 3D LiDAR or GIS mapping industries . - Proficient in aerial survey workflows, point cloud data processing, 3D scanning technology and GIS application systems, with solid mastery of mainstream industry hardware and software tools. - Familiar with U.S. local industry standards, FAA Part drone regulations and overseas cross-border data compliance requirements. - Fluent in English (written & verbal) : Capable of independent full-English business communication, technical negotiation and professional technical document writing. - Excellent at customer requirement mining and solution presentation with clear logical thinking. Able to support occasional business trips in the U.S. and work under high pressure in a fast-paced environment. - Work location: Based in Shanghai or Wuhan. Preferred Qualifications (Bonus Points) - Practical working experience in the U.S. market, including overseas long-term residency or overseas project delivery experience. - Possess professional certifications such as FAA Part107, GIS professional certification and other industry-related credentials. - In-depth understanding of U.S. mainstream industries including infrastructure construction, mining, agriculture and engineering surveying & mapping. - Own existing U.S. local channel resources or customer resources, with experience in solution system construction and large-scale overseas project overall coordination.
