Project Manager (GIS)

Project Manager (IT Project – GIS)Qualifications * Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Informatics Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. #### * Minimum **4 years of experience** as a Project Manager, IT Project Coordinator, or similar role in software development projects. #### * Experience managing #### **GIS (Geographic Information System)** projects or location-based application development. * Strong understanding of GIS concepts, including spatial data, digital mapping, geospatial analysis, and GIS workflows. * Familiarity with GIS platforms and tools such as ArcGIS, QGIS, GeoServer, MapServer, PostGIS, or similar technologies is an advantage. #### * Strong understanding of the **Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)** , including Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies. * Proven experience managing end-to-end software development projects, from planning through deployment. * Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and team coordination skills. * Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities. * Experience managing project scope, timeline, budget, risks, resources, and project documentation. * Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Trello, ClickUp, or Microsoft Project. * Ability to collaborate effectively with Developers, QA Engineers, GIS Specialists, UI/UX Designers, Business Analysts, and Product Owners. * Strong analytical thinking and decision-making skills. * PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum Master (PSM/CSM), or Agile certifications are an advantage. * Good command of English, both written and spoken. #### Preferred Qualifications * Experience delivering GIS solutions for government, utilities, telecommunications, transportation, agriculture, or smart city projects. * Knowledge of spatial databases (PostGIS, Oracle Spatial, SQL Server Spatial) and web mapping technologies (Leaflet, OpenLayers, Mapbox GL JS) is a plus. * Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) for GIS applications is an advantage. * Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
