Project Manager / Project Manageress for Official Surveying (80–100%)
As part of a motivated team of surveying specialists, you ensure the quality of the Official Surveying in the Canton of Bern and continuously develop it further. You take responsibility for exciting development projects and work closely with municipalities, update authorities, and federal agencies. You also engage with other government departments and the private sector to actively shape collaboration.
Location: Bern
50% Remote Work
Start Date: 1 February 2027 or by mutual agreement
Your Responsibilities
Conduct periodic audits of update authorities and further develop ongoing quality assurance processes
Support update authorities and municipalities in the delimitation of areas affected by permanent ground movements, including long-term monitoring
Participate in the transition of Official Surveying to the new DMAV data model
Assist municipalities in correctly awarding contracts
Ensure the maintenance and further development of the cantonal horizontal and vertical reference framework
Your Profile
Degree in Geomatics Engineering (ETH / FH) or equivalent qualification
Several years of experience in official surveying as well as in GIS / geoinformatics
Interest in legal and administrative issues related to official surveying, and in new technologies and developments in geomatics
Excellent German (C2); good French (B1) is desirable
