Your Responsibilities Develop web applications: Design and maintain data- and geospatial-based applications for projects in fiber-optic expansion, digital twins, and public administration. Design APIs: Develop and extend internal APIs using FastAPI, ensuring reliable and maintainable implementations. Integrate data and geospatial data: Connect various data sources and support structured processing and provisioning of data. Enhance search solutions: Implement powerful search and research functionalities using OpenSearch for our applications. Ensure quality: Test your developments, fix bugs, and document technical solutions in a transparent and traceable manner. Improve development processes: Contribute suitable technologies and ideas to continuously refine our development workflows. Support teams and projects: Collaborate closely with the GIS team, project managers, and product owners; your expertise is also welcome in customer meetings when needed. What You Bring Solid experience with Python and FastAPI. Strong knowledge of GIS and geospatial data handling. Advanced experience with OpenSearch. Understanding of design and technical implementation of web-based applications. Knowledge of TypeScript, JavaScript, and React is a plus. Ideally, several years of professional and project experience in software development. Excellent communication skills in both German and English.
