Remote Sensing Environmental Analyst

Job Description: King Saud University, in partnership with Jobs for Humanity, is seeking a Remote Sensing Environmental Analyst. The analyst will use remote sensing and geographic information systems (GIS) to monitor environmental hazards such as natural disasters, pollution, and land degradation. Key Responsibilities: - Use remote sensing and GIS tools to monitor and analyze environmental hazards. - Interpret satellite imagery and spatial datasets to assess natural disasters, pollution, and land degradation. - Collaborate with researchers, policy makers, and other stakeholders to disseminate findings and shape risk-mitigation measures. - Develop and execute strategies to reduce environmental risks and support decision-making. Requirements: - Proficiency with remote sensing technologies, data analysis, and GIS software. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret complex datasets. - Ability to formulate risk-mitigation strategies and communicate recommendations to diverse stakeholders.
