Road Surveyor Birmingham, West Midlands (Hybrid) Competitive Salary + Benefits AtkinsRéalis is recruiting a Road Surveyor to join our Transportation Infrastructure practice in Birmingham. You will focus on highway alignment surveys, pavement condition mapping, mobile LiDAR processing, and GIS data integration for major UK road networks (National Highways schemes). Key Duties: Highways Surveying: Perform highway survey mapping using mobile LiDAR systems, drone photogrammetry, and RTK GNSS. Mobile Data Processing: Process mobile point cloud data (Orbit GT, Leica Pegasus) for highway asset extraction and pavement evaluation. GIS Integration: Map survey deliverables into National Highways HAPMS / GIS database structures. Safety & Compliance: Maintain high health and safety standards on active road and motorway survey sites. Qualifications: HNC/HND or Degree in Land Surveying, Geomatics, GIS, or Civil Engineering. Experience working on UK highways or transport survey projects. Hands-on experience with mobile mapping, LiDAR, or high-speed survey systems. Valid CSCS card and UK Driving License.
