Senior Coordinator, GIS/Data Analyst Gombe, Gombe State (Onsite) Full-Time / Contract eHealth Africa (eHA) is a non-profit organization that designs and implements data-driven health technology solutions to improve public health delivery across West Africa. We are hiring a Senior Coordinator, GIS/Data Analyst to lead our spatial analytics and health mapping operations in Gombe State. You will oversee spatial disease surveillance mapping, health facility accessibility modeling, and field survey data collection for polio eradication and public health programs. Key Responsibilities: Spatial Data Management: Build and maintain state-wide spatial databases of health facilities, settlements, ward boundaries, and population distribution. Public Health Analytics: Conduct spatial buffer, travel time, and hotspot analysis to evaluate healthcare coverage and disease outbreak patterns. Field Team Coordination: Supervise GIS field mappers using mobile data tools (ODK, KoboToolbox, ArcGIS Field Maps) to conduct settlement mapping. Dashboard Development: Design interactive web maps and dashboards (ArcGIS Online, Power BI, DHIS2) for health ministry officials and donors. Capacity Building: Train state health officers and partner teams on basic GIS mapping and spatial data interpretation. Requirements: BSc or Master's degree in GIS, Remote Sensing, Geography, Public Health Informatics, or related field. 5+ years experience in spatial data analysis and health mapping, ideally within international NGOs or public health programs in Nigeria. Advanced technical skills in ArcGIS Pro, QGIS, Python, or R. Experience with mobile data collection tools (ODK, KoboToolbox). Fluency in English and Hausa is essential for Gombe State operations.
