Senior GIS Analyst (remote)

Описание на позицията *The GIS Analyst updates and expands our archive of global administrative and postal vector boundaries. These digital maps enable our clients to plan and manage their strategies for the development of the market more effectively. There are high requirements for correctness and accuracy of the boundaries while at the same time keeping the given deadlines for the preparation of the digital projects.* #### **You Will** Search, compile and compare source data (geodata and tabular data) Update the existing boundaries based on the researched source data Check the opportunity to add new (more granular) administrative or postal levels Follow the pre-set rules for execution and accuracy during the preparation of the maps Prepare assigned digital projects while meeting quality standards and complying with deadlines Manually digitize the administrative or postal borders of countries Close cooperation and support of the team cartography at the Head Office Participation in the performance of quality control and finalization of the product #### **You Have** Professional experience in map digitizing Professional experience in using QGIS (preferably) or ArcGIS Higher education in Cartography/GIS/Geomatics/Geoinformatics or other related specialties #### Knowledge of geoprocessing routines Perseverance and tenacity to find the most suitable source data during web research Very good command of English (level B1-B2) Computer literacy – working with MS Office (mostly Excel and / or Access) **It Would Be a Great Addition If You Have** Knowledge of a common scripting language (e.g. Python, SQL, VBA) Experience in automating repetitive processes Knowledge of a second foreign language (preferably German) #### **We Offer** #### Food vouchers € 62 Additional Medical Insurance, incl Prophylactics, Outpatient care, Inpatient care, еxpenses for medications and medical products #### Life Insurance Multisport card (self-funded by the employee) A Hybrid model of working: 3 days of the week you work from home (home office), 2 days from the office.
