Le Mouton à 5 Pattes, a recruitment agency, is seeking on behalf of its international client—specializing in GIS solutions and geospatial engineering—a Senior GIS Consultant / FME Expert (H/F), based in central Paris.
As part of the company’s growth in consulting services in France, you will join a dynamic, human-sized organization within an international environment. As a true technical and business expert, you will support clients in their data transformation, valorization, and automation initiatives. You will also play a key role in developing the consulting practice in France and in upskilling the team.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as a GIS expert for clients on complex geospatial challenges, data integration, and processing;
Guide clients in identifying solutions aligned with their technical and business objectives;
Deliver high-value consulting, expertise, and implementation services to public and private organizations;
Design and implement data integration, transformation, and automation solutions, particularly using FME;
Support sales teams in client meetings, events, and technical presentations;
Contribute to tender responses and technical proposal development;
Drive commercial growth of the GIS consulting activity through your expertise, network, and market knowledge;
Mentor and coach junior consultants on GIS technologies, FME, and consulting best practices;
Deliver internal and client-facing training sessions;
Conduct technology watch and help structure consulting practices and expertise in France.
Profile Requirements:
Advanced degree (Bac+5) in geomatics, computer science, or a related field, with significant experience in GIS consulting;
Proven expertise in GIS environments, especially FME and/or ArcGIS, with strong experience in data integration, automation, and workflow optimization;
Demonstrated consulting experience, ideally on complex projects for large corporate clients, with the ability to understand client needs and propose innovative, pragmatic solutions;
Recognized for your expertise, you enjoy sharing knowledge—training, coaching, and mentoring other consultants—and can serve as a technical reference and mentor within the team;
Attentive, curious, and proactive, you thrive outside your comfort zone, stay current with technological trends, and contribute to building an evolving consulting practice.
Practical Details:
Position: Full-time permanent contract (CDI);
Location: Paris (intra-muros), with regular on-site client presence (~2 days/week); remaining time split between office and remote work;
Salary: €60,000–€70,000 gross annual fixed salary, depending on profile;
Benefits: 100% company-paid health insurance, transport subscription coverage, company bike scheme, and meal vouchers.
