Tō tūranga hou | Your new role We are seeking an experienced Senior Geospatial Data Engineer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise-scale geospatial data solutions. This is an exciting opportunity to work with complex spatial datasets, build modern data platforms, and deliver high-quality information products that support critical planning, operational, and strategic decision-making. You will play a key role in designing a scalable geospatial data infrastructure, integrating data from multiple sources, and ensuring the reliability, accessibility, and integrity of spatial information across the organisation. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain geospatial data solutions and platforms. Build and support robust, secure, and scalable data pipelines that integrate data from multiple systems and sources. Ensure the quality, integrity, accessibility, and governance of geospatial datasets. Develop and implement data models, standards, and technical frameworks to improve consistency and interoperability. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to integrate, manage, and share spatial information effectively. Provide technical leadership and guidance on geospatial data engineering best practices.
