Senior GIS Network Planner – Fiber Optic / FTTx (m/f/d)

Job Description For our client in the telecommunications/broadband industry, we are seeking an expert (m/f/d) in FTTx network planning. The primary objective is to conduct detailed analysis, assess remaining work volumes, and perform risk-minimized adjustments to existing route and network plans using TKI and QGIS. Key Responsibilities: Planning Analysis & Adjustment: Conduct detailed review, validation, and correction of existing route and network plans. Remaining Work Assessment & Risk Management: Identify and evaluate remaining work volumes; proactively detect and mitigate risks in route planning. Stakeholder Communication: Maintain close coordination and alignment with internal interfaces and key contacts. Documentation: Accurately maintain and update network data within GIS systems. Requirements: Experience: Several years of proven, in-depth experience as a network planner in the fiber-optic / FTTx sector. TKI (MUST-HAVE): Demonstrated, advanced expertise in the specialized software TKI (e.g., TKI NET Design / Engineering). QGIS & Excel: Advanced practical skills in QGIS and strong proficiency in MS Excel for data analysis.
