Senior GIS & SCADA Project Manager

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR: We seek to onboard a Senior GIS Technician with experience in utility networks and SCADA systems, focused on project management. The ideal candidate will bring solid technical expertise, strong management and leadership capabilities, and a proactive mindset for continuous learning and improvement. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in GIS projects for utilities—especially in water network and infrastructure management—as well as experience handling data from PLCs and SCADA systems. We are looking for a committed, solution-oriented professional with a results-driven mindset, capable of coordinating technical and functional teams and managing complex environments. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES: Administer and supervise GIS systems integrated with SCADA, ensuring availability, performance, and reliability. Analyze and understand stakeholder requirements to ensure GIS and SCADA systems effectively support business objectives. Lead system changes, migrations, and evolution initiatives. Manage relationships with technology vendors. Coordinate technical and functional teams to ensure successful project execution. Proactively detect, analyze, and resolve critical incidents. Monitor SLAs and ensure service-level compliance. Implement and supervise security policies in industrial and critical infrastructure environments. REQUIREMENTS: Minimum 5 years of experience managing and supervising GIS projects for utilities or critical infrastructure. Experience in change management, project management, system migrations, and coordination of technical and functional teams. Knowledge of GIS tools (ArcGIS, QGIS, or others) for utility network management and SCADA platforms. Experience managing and tracking SLAs. Experience with Windows and/or Linux systems. Higher technical qualification or university degree (e.g., Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Telecommunications, or equivalent). NICE-TO-HAVES: ITIL certification (preferably ITIL v4). Specific training or certifications in GIS and/or SCADA platforms. Knowledge of industrial protocols (Modbus, OPC, IEC, etc.). Experience in automation or scripting (e.g., Python).
