Senior GIS Solution Lead (Hybrid, Contract)

Senior GIS Solution Lead (Hybrid) Location: Arlington, VA & Sterling, VA (Dulles area) Duration: 6-month contract We're looking for a Senior Business Analyst with deep GIS expertise to help a major transportation authority in Northern Virginia get more business value from its GIS investments. What you'll do: Assess current GIS applications, data, and integrations, and recommend whether to enhance, modernize, consolidate, or retire them Build and maintain a prioritized GIS roadmap tied to business value and cost Integrate Esri ArcGIS with enterprise systems like IBM Maximo and Workday Define data flows, APIs, and synchronization approaches with Enterprise Architecture and Security teams Present recommendations to IT and business leadership What we're looking for: 7+ years of experience translating business needs into GIS solutions Hands-on Esri ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Online, and ArcGIS Pro Strong SQL, spatial databases, geodatabases, REST APIs, and web services Experience integrating GIS with asset management or ERP/HRMS platforms Strong communicator who can work with technical and non-technical audiences Nice to have: Esri certification (ArcGIS Solution Engineer or Enterprise Administration), IBM Maximo certification (MAS / Manage), Python/JavaScript, cloud experience.
