ppOur client in Brussels is looking for a bSoftware Architect /b to join their team. /ppbThis company is known worldwide for their GIS solutions for various sectors. In doing so, they help larger players, local governments, universities, map providers including NATO and Proximus with spatial analysis, map making and location intelligence to make better informed decisions. /b They also provide training and support to their customers in Belgium and Luxembourg. In doing so, they use the latest technologies. /ppTo support their growth, they are currently looking for a bSoftware Architect /b. /ppSome of your duties include: /pulliYou lead the architecture and design of the GIS Foundation. /liliYou work with business, GIS and IT stakeholders to develop a GIS architecture that meets functional requirements. /liliYou design GIS environments with a focus on business continuity, deployment (on-prem/cloud), security, governance and application architecture. /liliYou define the technical methodology for implementation. /liliYou contribute to technical analyses, such as requirements gathering and gap analyses. /liliYou are responsible for design documentation. /liliYou supervise the project team and monitor compliance with the architectural design. /li /ul /p
