Software Engineer | GIS

Overview In this role, you will work as a mid-level GIS Developer focused on ESRI and VertiGIS technologies within the Energy & Utilities practice. You will support the evolution of the Utility Network model and its integration with the enterprise ecosystem (ERP and Middleware). You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize operational processes and network topology management, helping convert field challenges into advanced GIS solutions. Employment Level: CCNL Commercio – Level I Gross Annual Salary: Starting from €42,000 Benefits: Ticket Restaurant Key Responsibilities Design and develop GIS solutions based on ESRI Utility Network (UN) and topology management Customize VertiGIS Studio to optimize operational workflows (Workflow, Web, Mobile) Implement complex API integrations between GIS and external systems (SAP BTP, SCADA/telecontrol, corporate databases) Maintain and develop Front-End (ArcGIS Maps SDK for JavaScript) and Back-End (Python/ArcPy) components Required Qualifications Experience with ArcGIS Enterprise Experience developing API integrations (REST/SOAP) and SAP BTP Experience with middleware platforms (e.g., MuleSoft, TIBCO) for data flow management Advanced Python programming with ArcPy and ArcGIS API for Python Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript for web mapping Experience with Java (server-side) Experience with spatial databases: SQL Server (SDE) and/or PostgreSQL + PostGIS Experience with spatial ETL tools (e.g., FME) Nice-to-Have ESRI or VertiGIS certifications Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies
