Role
We are looking for an experienced Technical Specialist with expertise in .NET technologies, GIS application development, geospatial platforms, and applied AI. The candidate will design and develop scalable web-based geospatial applications, analytics dashboards, APIs, and AI-enabled decision-support solutions using ArcGIS, open-source GIS frameworks, cloud platforms, and modern web technologies.
Responsibilities--
Analyse requirements and prepare technical specifications, API documentation, and solution designs.
Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain enterprise applications using .NET technologies.
Build GIS applications, interactive maps, geospatial dashboards, and spatial analytics workflows.
Work with raster, vector, satellite imagery, terrain, weather, climate, and other location-based datasets.
Develop and integrate REST APIs, map services, microservices, spatial databases, and backend systems.
Integrate AI/ML and Generative AI capabilities such as natural-language search, spatial data querying, intelligent alerts, automated reporting, and decision-support assistants.
Develop RAG solutions using enterprise documents, databases, and geospatial metadata.
Support Geo AI use cases such as image classification, change detection, forecasting, anomaly detection, and spatial risk scoring.
Optimize application performance, security, scalability, AI output quality, and processing of large geospatial datasets.
Collaborate with GIS specialists, data scientists, architects, DevOps teams, and clients.
Review code, troubleshoot applications, mentor junior developers, and support technical decision-making.
Ensure adherence to SDLC, Agile, coding, testing, documentation, data privacy, and responsible AI standards.
Skills & Qualification--
B.Tech, M.Tech, MCA, or equivalent qualification in Computer Science, IT, GIS, Geoinformatics, Engineering, Data Science, or a related discipline.
8-10 years of software development experience, including significant exposure to GIS applications.
Strong hands-on experience with C#, .NET Core/.NET, ASP.NET MVC, Web API, and Entity Framework Core.
Experience with PostgreSQL/PostGIS or Microsoft SQL Server.
Experience with ArcGIS Enterprise/Server, GeoServer, CesiumJS, Leaflet, OpenLayers, or ArcGIS Maps SDK.
Practical exposure to integrating AI/ML or Generative AI capabilities into enterprise applications.
Understanding of REST APIs, microservices, design patterns, cloud deployment, CI/CD, and containerization.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, documentation, and team-collaboration skills.
