Sr. GIS Executive

Uros Geotechlab Private Limited is seeking a skilled Sr. GIS Executive with 2–3 years of relevant experience to support GIS analysis, spatial data management, Web GIS integration, and project delivery. Responsibilities Coordinate with GIS Analysts and Developers to resolve data, attribute mapping, and symbology issues on Web GIS platforms. Prepare thematic maps, including Flood Hazard, Watershed Delineation, Surface Water Occurrence, Soil Salinity, GCP Layouts, and Drone Survey Extents. Manage coordinate systems, projections, and spatial data alignment. Oversee end-to-end GIS deliverables, from data preparation and developer integration to web deployment. Establish SOPs for GIS data organization, file naming, and deliverables. Coordinate GIS Analysts and Developers to ensure timely project execution. Assess client requirements, technical feasibility, and project timelines. Perform GIS-based site suitability analysis. Qualifications Minimum Bachelor's degree (Geography/ Geoinformatics/ GIS/ Remote Sensing/ Geomatics, or a related field) 2–3 years of relevant GIS experience Hands-on experience with QGIS and/or ArcGIS Experience with GeoAI and geospatial analysis will be an added advantage Good understanding of GIS data formats, coordinate reference systems (CRS), projections, and spatial data integration Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and team coordination skills Work Location: Ahmedabad, Gujarat (Work from Office) Local Candidate Preference: Preference will be given to candidates based in Ahmedabad.
