Survey Engineer (Located in Liberia)

About Us Avesoro is a leading gold mining company operating in West Africa, committed to safety, operational excellence, and sustainable mining practices. We are looking for an experienced Survey Engineer to join our mining operation and support accurate surveying, mapping, and geospatial data management activities for our open pit mining and construction projects. Key Responsibilities Perform topographic, engineering, and geodetic surveys for open pit mining and construction projects. Conduct field surveys using GNSS, Total Station, Digital Level, and UAV (Drone) surveying equipment. Prepare Digital Terrain Models (DTM), Digital Surface Models (DSM), cross-sections, and volume calculations. Produce and update survey drawings, layouts, and as-built documentation. Generate orthophotos, point clouds, and 3D models using UAV photogrammetry. Manage and analyze spatial data using Geographic Information Systems (GIS). Perform coordinate system transformations and maintain survey accuracy. Prepare weekly and monthly pit progress, stockpile volume, and survey reports. Coordinate survey activities with Mine Planning, Mine Operations, Civil Construction, and other project stakeholders. Ensure all surveying activities comply with company standards, HSE requirements, and industry best practices. Qualifications Education Bachelor's degree in Surveying Engineering, Geomatics Engineering, or a related discipline. Experience Minimum 5 years of surveying experience. Experience in open pit mining and/or large-scale construction projects. Experience with UAV (Drone) surveying and photogrammetry is highly preferred. Experience in topographic surveying, volume calculations, and engineering surveying.
