For more information, visit:\nwww.gpinet.com\nResponsibilities:\nUses established workflows and procedures to lead field crews.\nAssist in developing proper field procedures, accurate calculations, field note-taking, and responsible for product quality and accuracy.\nResponsible for daily field crew procedures and adherence to safety and technical project requirements.\nCollects data for accurate DTM and surface models.\nEnsures the timeliness and quality control of survey data collection.\nResponsible for field data management and the distribution of survey data.\nOversees the use of field survey equipment, including software and hardware updates.\nResponsible for setting up temporary traffic control and ensuring crew safety.\nResponsible for the daily download of survey data and weekly reports as required.\nProvide daily job hazard briefings and any required reports.\nWillingness to travel out of town and other states is preferred.\nQualifications:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent with 5+ years of experience as a Party Chief.\nBoundary, right-of-way, and topographic surveying experience.\nExperience working on Transportation and Energy projects is a plus.\nAbility to perform field calculations and understanding of processing software is a plus.\nOrganizational skills for data, field notes, and equipment.
