Surveying Technician (m/f/d)

Job Description: To support our team at the Montabaur branch in the Department of Surveying/Geoinformatics, we are looking for a Surveying Technician (m/f/d) at the earliest possible date. Key Responsibilities: Conducting and processing surveying tasks both in-office and in the field Performing design surveying (planning-supportive surveying) to create base maps for the design of civil engineering structures and transportation facilities Executing construction surveying and evaluations according to predefined measurement programs or concepts (per ZTV-Verm.) in coordination with the project surveying engineer and quality assurance Carrying out routine maintenance and monitoring surveys Preparing documentation and providing map/information services Requirements: Completed training as a surveying technician, state-certified construction technician with a focus on civil engineering, or an equivalent qualification, or relevant practical experience and skills Preferred Qualifications: Professional experience in geoinformation and CAD systems, surveying technology, archiving, underground utility construction, or construction supervision Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, sofiCAD, AllPlan, etc.) Solid working knowledge of GIS systems and standard Microsoft Office applications Personal Attributes: Strong social and communication skills High resilience, decisiveness, and willingness to engage Enjoy working collaboratively in a team Diligent, reliable, responsible, and independent work ethic Additional Information: Selection will be conducted by a hiring committee. Salary group: E9a (based on the MTV-Autobahn collective agreement). Salary level within the group will be determined individually in accordance with MTV-Autobahn guidelines.
