Surveyor (Contract) Eskay Creek Mine Site, BC (FIFO / Rotational Onsite) 6-Month Contract | 2 Weeks On / 2 Weeks Off Rotational Skeena Resources Limited is a Canadian mining exploration and development company advancing the past-producing Eskay Creek gold-silver project in the Tahltan Territory of northwest BC. We are hiring a Surveyor (Contract) for a 6-month rotational contract at the Eskay Creek site. You will execute open-pit mine surveys, stockpile volume calculations, and construction layout staking. Key Duties: Mine Surveying: Conduct daily open-pit surveys, blast hole layout staking, and excavation volume calculations using RTK GNSS and Leica total stations. Drone Photogrammetry: Fly RTK survey drones (DJI Phantom 4 RTK / Matrice 300) to generate site orthophotos and 3D surface models. Volume Calculations: Calculate monthly stockpile and earthworks volumes using Maptek Vulcan, Civil 3D, or Surpac. Safety Compliance: Maintain strict adherence to mine site H&S regulations. Qualifications: Degree or Diploma in Mine Surveying, Geomatics, or Civil Engineering Technology. 3+ years open-pit mining or heavy civil survey experience. Proficiency with Leica survey equipment, drone photogrammetry, and mine modeling software. Valid Driver's License and ability to pass site medical assessment.
