Systems Engineer, Physics & Simulation

GovTech Singapore is seeking a Systems Engineer (Physics & Simulation) with geospatial and 3D modeling skills to join the Smart City Technology team. Role & Responsibilities: Develop 3D spatial simulation models for urban climate, wind flow, and noise propagation; Integrate GIS datasets (3D Buildings, terrain models) into physics-based simulation engines; Build automated 3D spatial mesh generation pipelines from LiDAR and BIM inputs; Collaborate with government agencies to translate urban planning questions into simulation studies. Requirements: Degree in Physics, Mechanical/Civil Engineering, Computer Science, or Geomatics; Proficiency in Python/C++ and spatial data processing; Experience with 3D GIS tools, CityGML, Procedural 3D modeling, or Unreal Engine / Unity; Strong mathematical background in numerical modeling and spatial geometry.
