Technical Delivery Manager - GIS

Lead major geospatial programmes, delivering ArcGIS, mapping and location intelligence platforms **Tō kamupene hou | Your new company** Our client is undertaking a significant investment in its geospatial capability, modernising the platforms, systems and services that support operational decision-making across a large and complex environment. With a growing reliance on mapping, location intelligence and spatial data, they are embarking on several strategic initiatives designed to modernise core GIS platforms, enhance operational capability and improve how critical information is accessed and used. **Tō tūranga hou | Your new role** As Technical Delivery Manager - Geospatial, you will take ownership of a portfolio of programmes that sit at the heart of the organisation's geospatial capability. Working within the Data & Analytics function, you will lead the delivery of the platforms, systems and services that enable users to access mapping, spatial data and operational insights when they need them most. These capabilities support everything from situational awareness and incident management through to dispatch and intelligence functions. Your focus will be on delivering several high-profile initiatives, including the modernisation of a major ArcGIS Enterprise environment, the rollout of a new Search and Rescue Incident Management System, and enhancements to next-generation mapping services. You will work across technology teams, business stakeholders and external partners to ensure these programmes are delivered successfully, balancing competing priorities, managing dependencies and helping turn strategic investment into practical outcomes. **Ngā uara me ngā pūkenga e angitu ai koe | What you'll need to succeed** * 10 years’ senior programme or technical delivery experience across complex ICT, GIS, spatial data or enterprise geospatial environments. * Proven delivery of large-scale platform modernisation, re-architecture or systems integration programmes, ideally involving ArcGIS Enterprise or ArcGIS Online. * Strong experience leading multi-workstream delivery across ICT, business teams, vendors and external partners. * Technical credibility across cloud, enterprise architecture, integration, data governance, quality assurance and change management. * Experience delivering technology that supports operational decision-making, situational awareness, dispatch, intelligence or incident management. * Strong commercial, vendor and delivery governance experience within high-complexity programme environments. * Confident leading Agile delivery teams and bringing structure, pace and control to programmes with significant operational impact. **Ngā hua ka whiwhi i a koe | What you'll get in return** * Salary package circa $145,000 * 18-month fixed-term opportunity * Opportunity to lead large-scale geospatial transformation initiatives * Exposure to enterprise GIS and location intelligence platforms #### * Flexible working arrangements * Modern technology environment with significant investment in future capability **Me aha koe ināianei | What you need to do now** If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.
