About the Role
We’re supporting a growing telecom data team as they look to add a Telecom Project Lead to support delivery across a high-volume fibre infrastructure program.
This is a hands-on project delivery role focused on Physical Premise Count (PPC) work, combining GIS, field-data quality, reporting and team coordination. You’ll work closely with field teams, GIS specialists, project leads and clients to keep projects accurate, efficient and on track.
This is a strong opportunity for someone who enjoys solving data and delivery challenges, improving processes and supporting field teams within a collaborative telecom environment.
What You’ll Be Working On
Reporting to the Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating PPC projects from intake through to final client delivery.
Key responsibilities include:
Coordinating daily project activities, field priorities, documentation and delivery requirements
Leading field-team check-ins, assigning work, tracking progress and resolving delivery issues
Reviewing field data, maintaining quality standards and identifying recurring data or process issues
Creating KPI dashboards and reporting using GIS, Excel, Google Sheets and shared client datasets
Cleaning, analyzing and maintaining PPC data across GIS platforms, spreadsheets and SQL databases
Supporting workflow improvements, automation and reporting enhancements alongside the software team
Creating training materials and supporting onboarding and refresher training for field staff
What They’re Looking For
1–5 years of experience in GIS, data analysis, telecom, utilities, infrastructure, field operations or project coordination
Strong experience with ArcGIS, ArcGIS Pro, ArcMap, ArcGIS Online, ArcPy, QGIS, Google Earth or Fulcrum
Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills, including formulas, pivot tables, charts, dashboards and data analysis
Working knowledge of Python, ArcPy and SQL; exposure to FME, Java, HTML or CSS is an asset
Ability to manage competing priorities, coordinate people and support high-quality project delivery
Strong attention to detail, with experience in data quality, QA/QC, reporting or field-data validation
Confident communication skills, with the ability to lead check-ins, provide feedback and work with field teams, clients and internal stakeholders
Telecom, fibre, utility, municipal infrastructure or asset-management experience is highly valued
Familiarity with TELUS systems such as TOPPs, Jira or MyWorld would be an asset
AutoCAD experience and a valid driver’s license are considered assets
Why This Role
Join a growing team supporting meaningful fibre infrastructure projects across Canada
Opportunity to build hands-on experience across GIS, data quality, field operations and project delivery
Work closely with field teams and technical stakeholders in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
Contribute directly to workflow improvements, automation and reporting enhancements
Flexible hybrid work environment, with training support during onboarding
Stable workload within a growing telecom infrastructure program
