Traffic & GIS Analyst

Company GEK TERNA Group of Companies Νέα Οδός Α.Ε (New Road S.A.), part of the GEK TERNA Group, is seeking a Traffic & GIS Analyst. Key Responsibilities Collect, analyze, digitize, and visualize geospatial data related to motorway infrastructure. Continuously update applications built in ArcGIS Experience Builder. Create mosaic orthophoto maps from drone imagery and process orthoimages. Develop and maintain geodatabases containing motorway-related spatial data. Design and deploy mobile applications (using tools such as Survey123, Survey360, etc.) for field inspections and work logging. Produce thematic maps and spatial reports to support engineering studies and strategic decision-making. Supervise and coordinate the mapping and updating of motorway asset inventories. Develop custom GIS dashboards to monitor incidents, asphalt conditions, and other key parameters. Maintain and integrate the project study database and register with the GIS system. Collaborate and communicate with public bodies to obtain and exchange digital data. Generate maps to support traffic modeling and analysis. Monitor and update the MyOdos application. Liaise with local authorities and other public/private entities regarding traffic operations and handle related correspondence. Monitor traffic flow from traffic counters and evaluate alternative traffic management scenarios during major maintenance works. Track relevant KPIs and prepare performance reports for external stakeholders. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, with a specialization in Transportation Engineering. Master’s degree in Geographic Information Systems (GIS). Minimum 4 years of experience as a GIS Analyst. Advanced proficiency in ArcGIS PRO, ArcGIS Enterprise, Experience Builder, Survey123/360, Story Maps, Mobile Apps, and ArcPy scripting. Foundational programming skills in Python and Arcade. Excellent command of English (spoken and written). Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD. Strong computer skills and expertise in Microsoft Office suite.
