Q. What kind of company is InfoEarth?
A. InfoEarth Inc. was founded in 2019 by a former construction consultant. Our mission is to drive digital transformation (DX) in disaster prevention and social infrastructure. We primarily deliver projects for national government agencies—including the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (MLIT) and the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries—and have been selected for internal AI model deployments in Cabinet Office-led initiatives. Our work directly contributes to solving critical societal challenges.
Q. What kind of development will I be involved in?
A. You’ll be responsible for system development and analytical platform construction in areas such as:
DX systems for maintaining and managing social infrastructure (e.g., rivers, roads, slopes)
Prediction and early warning systems for floods, landslides, and other disasters
Systems for analyzing, processing, and visualizing diverse spatiotemporal data (e.g., meteorological, hydrological, geotechnical, and人流/foot-traffic data)
WebGIS and 3D visualization systems leveraging GIS, remote sensing, and point cloud data
Design and development of in-house web applications and analytical platforms
Q. Is it okay if I lack experience in certain technologies?
A. Yes. After joining, you’ll start by building foundational knowledge in AI models and GIS technologies. Engineers with 1–2 years of experience can begin implementation in languages they’re comfortable with, gradually expanding their skills under senior engineer mentorship. We also hold regular internal study sessions.

Ideal Candidate:
【Required】
Experience in software development or interest in the development process
Interest in disaster prevention, infrastructure, or data utilization
Education: Graduate, university, or college of technology
Second-career candidates welcome
【Preferred】
Experience in web/API development, Python, cloud platforms, AI, GIS, or data analysis
Visualization experience
English proficiency (for technical documents or communication)
Certifications: AWS, GIS, PMP, etc.
Basic/Advanced Information Technology Engineer Examinations
Office casual dress code OK
Working Hours & Days:
Flexible working hours (core time: 11:00–15:00)
Standard working hours: 7.5 hours/day
Break: 60 minutes
Overtime: Yes (included fixed overtime: 20 hours/month)
Full remote work: Not available
Day shifts only
Holidays & Leave:
126 annual holidays (including weekends, public holidays, and summer break)
Year-end/New Year break: Dec 29–Jan 4

Compensation:
Annual salary: ¥4,200,000 – ¥8,000,000 (includes fixed overtime pay of ¥42,900/month for 20 hours)
Overtime beyond 20 hours/month is paid separately
Monthly base salary: ¥300,000+ (minimum base: ¥257,100)
Fixed overtime allowance: ¥42,900/month (20 hours)
Annual raise: Once per year
Bonus: 2 months’ salary
Allowances: Commuting, overtime (beyond fixed amount)
Probation Period: 3 months (during which flexible hours do not apply; fixed hours 09:30–18:00)
