Position
Web Engineer (Disaster Prevention & Social Infrastructure Systems Development)
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop web applications, analysis platforms, and proprietary services to address challenges in disaster prevention and social infrastructure.
Develop maintenance and digital transformation (DX) systems for critical infrastructure (e.g., rivers, roads, slopes).
Build predictive and early-warning systems for floods, landslides, and other natural disasters.
Develop systems for analyzing, processing, and visualizing spatiotemporal data (e.g., meteorological, hydrological, geotechnical, and人流 data).
Construct spatial information systems using WebGIS, 3D visualization, GIS, remote sensing, and point cloud data.
Engage in full project lifecycle—from client needs analysis and architecture design to technical consulting and implementation.

Regularly attend internal training sessions on programming, cloud, data analysis, etc.

Required Qualifications
Experience in software development or interest in the development process.
Interest in disaster prevention, infrastructure, or data utilization.
Education: Graduate, university, or college of technology degree.
Second-career new graduates welcome.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in Web/API development, Python, cloud platforms, AI, GIS, data analysis, or visualization.
English proficiency (technical documents or conversation).
Certifications: AWS, GIS, PM, or Information Technology (e.g., FE/AP Exam).
Office casual dress code.
Working Hours & Schedule
Flextime system (core hours: 11:00–15:00)
Standard working hours: 7.5 hours/day
Break: 60 minutes
Overtime: Up to 20 hours/month included in fixed overtime allowance (¥42,900/month); additional hours paid separately.
No remote-only option; on-site required.
Day shifts only.
Holidays & Leave
126 annual holidays (full weekends + public holidays + 2-day summer break + year-end/new-year holidays: Dec 29–Jan 4)

Compensation & Benefits
Monthly Salary: ¥300,000+ (base: ¥257,100+)
Fixed Overtime Allowance: ¥42,900/month (for 20 hrs overtime); extra hours paid separately.
Estimated Annual Income: ¥4.2M–¥8.0M
Raises: Annual
Bonuses: 2 months’ salary
Allowances: Commuting, overtime (beyond fixed), etc.
Probation Period: 3 months (no flextime during probation; fixed hours 09:30–18:00)
