Role Overview
We are looking for a Business Specialist in Water & Wastewater (VA) who is passionate about helping clients take the next step in their digitalization journey—moving from advisory and implementation to realizing concrete operational benefits through GIS, data, analysis, and digital workflows.
As a VA expert, you will combine your industry knowledge with a clear interest in technology. You will build client relationships, drive projects to successful outcomes, and contribute to making underground infrastructure more visible and decision-ready through GIS, data, analytics, and digital workflows.
You will work closely with both client organizations and internal product and development teams, while also contributing to the continuous evolution of the company’s offerings.
Key Responsibilities
Support clients in implementing and using digital solutions for water & wastewater operations
Conduct training sessions for clients and support them in developing their operations using digital tools
Carry out user-near testing of the company’s solutions and deliver client demonstrations
Monitor developments in the VA industry and translate new insights into improvements of the company’s offerings
Collaborate with internal teams to further develop services and products
Qualifications
Proven work experience in the VA sector—for example, as a water/wastewater engineer, investigation engineer, or similar
Civil engineering or higher education (e.g., M.Sc.) in fields such as environmental systems engineering, civil engineering, water resources, or a related discipline
Experience with GIS and/or consulting is considered a strong merit
Excellent command of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
Personal Qualities
You thrive in an advisory role with high client interaction and have a genuine interest in both technology and the development of the water & wastewater sector. You are structured, results-oriented, and possess strong pedagogical skills—enabling you to clearly explain complex issues and drive assignments to successful completion.

Additional Information
The role involves handling data of high societal sensitivity. Therefore, a security screening—including a background check of the final candidate—will be conducted.
Start date is negotiable. The position is permanent, with an initial probationary period.

Location is flexible and may be Gothenburg, Gävle, Karlskrona, Sundbyberg, or Malmö.
