Data Platform Architect – AI, Analytics & GIS

Department of Mobility and Public Works We are seeking an experienced Data Platform Architect to play a pivotal role in building and sustainably managing our data analytics platform. You will design, implement, and oversee the platform architecture to ensure that business intelligence (BI), data science, and GIS applications remain feasible and secure. Key Responsibilities: Design and implement robust, scalable, and secure data platform architectures. Ensure compliance with data governance, privacy regulations, and security standards. Collaborate closely with data engineers, BI analysts, data scientists, and GIS specialists. Optimize platform performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency. Support integration of AI, analytics, and GIS workloads into the platform. Requirements: Proven experience as a Data Platform Architect or similar role. Strong expertise in cloud-based data platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP). Familiarity with data engineering, analytics, AI/ML, and GIS technologies. Knowledge of data governance, security, and regulatory frameworks (e.g., GDPR). Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a multidisciplinary environment.
