Executive Director, GIS and Humanitarian Programs

GISCorps is seeking a part-time GISCorps Executive Director (GED) for approximately 10 hours per week to provide strategic and technical leadership and help advance its mission of connecting volunteer GIS professionals with nonprofit and humanitarian organizations in need of geospatial assistance. Compensation: about $50/hour (~$25,000/year). No benefits. Virtual US-resident position. Key qualifications: Senior-level GIS expertise (10+ years) Experience with Web GIS, spatial analysis, geospatial data management, remote sensing, project management Nonprofit/humanitarian leadership desirable Fundraising and grant writing Responsibilities include technical advice, assessing project requests, Core Committee meetings, fundraising recommendations, and representing GISCorps at events.
