Exploration Geologist/GIS/ Database Administration

We are seeking a highly motivated Exploration Geologist/GIS and Database Administrator responsible for drilling supervision and Geospatial, GIS and Database administration. What the role entails: Reporting to the Exploration Manager, you will be part of a highly motivated and successful Geology team. You will be responsible for: Drilling supervision as required Administration of Chinova’s Geobank database Field data coordination and integration Maintain the standard suite of GIS products with the latest information: Timely reporting of analytical data as it becomes available Development and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) GIS Management Sample and despatch procedures Analytical Techniques QAQC protocols To succeed in this role, you will have: Bachelor of Science with Honours in Geology Minimum of 3 years' relevant experience in Geology and GIS/Database management Experience with drilling supervision Experience in using GIS and 3D modelling software (Micromine, MapInfo, QGIS) Experience in data management and quality control Experience with using database package (Geobank, acQuire) Ability to produce maps and diagrams for corporate use
